Margie joined Physicians and Midwives in 2005. After graduating from the Alexandria Hospital School of Nursing, she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from George Mason University, her Master of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, and her post-masters’ certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing.  Her first job was as a Junior Volunteer in the Maternity unit at Alexandria Hospital!  Prior to becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2006, she was a Labor and Delivery nurse, childbirth educator, nursing educator, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Margie is a Certified Aunt, with seven nieces and nephews, and enjoys reading, baking bread, vacationing in Florida, and especially,
