Elizabeth Itote, CNM
Liz has been employed at Physicians and Midwives since June, 2006. She was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. Liz attended Hesston College, a 2 yr Mennonite college in the heart of Kansas, in January, 1998 where she earned her first Nursing license in May, 2000. Liz then attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas where she earned both a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and a Masters of Science in Nursing degree. Liz received her Certificate in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Kansas school of nursing in August, 2005 and became ACNM Certified in February, 2006.

Prior to joining the practice, Liz completed her practicum in Women’s Health, Labor and Delivery at Hasting Indian Medical center in Tahlequa, Oklahoma, Wesley medical center and Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas. Liz also participated in a Medical Mission to Kenya in October, 2005 with Mercy and truth medical missions of Kansas City, Kansas.

Liz has enjoyed working in Medical and surgical care, long-term care, home health, hospice and traveling nursing.
