Hillary Robinowitz-Elins, MD FACOG
Hillary Robinowitz-Elins, MD was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Elins completed her B.S in Molecular/Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona in 1995. She obtained her Medical Doctorate from the American University of the Caribbean in 2001, followed by a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, and completed her residency in OB/GYN at Methodist Health System in Dallas in 2006. Dr. Elins achieved board certification in OB/GYN in 2008, and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Elins fulfilled her commitment to the Air Force as an OB/GYN physician and faculty at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base/Wright State School of Medicine, and then Mountain Home Air Force Base in 2009. She left part-time practice with Ob/Gyn Associates in Boise, ID to settle in Northern Virginia, and practice full-time. She has particular surgical interest in minimally invasive procedures including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and vaginal surgery. Dr. Elins was named an “Ace-Minimally Invasive Surgeon,” in the Air Force for her use of these procedures in 95% of her more than fifty surgeries per year. In the office she enjoys the wide spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology from adolescents to menopausal patients, high-risk pregnancy, and GYN oncology.
Dr. Elins is married to Major Robert Gilliland currently stationed at Andrews AFB. They have two-year-old triplet girls and a beloved dog. In her spare time, Dr. Elins enjoys exercising, travel, cooking, and reading.
