About Liz Lucas

Liz is a native of Virginia, born and raised in Winchester. She moved to NOVA in 2017 after earning her undergraduate in nursing from Shenandoah University to work as a labor & delivery nurse at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Midwifery from Baylor University in 2023. Her areas of interest include female adolescent care, teen pregnancy prevention, maternity care, and of course, labor and delivery!

Liz aims to provide every patient with safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care. Using shared decision making, she works with her patients to make informed decisions about their health and birth experience.

Liz currently resides in Manassas with her husband and 2 daughters. When not working, she enjoys spending her days outside (when there is nice weather), experiencing new sights, eating good food, true crime podcasts, and finding ways to express her creative side.
